I come across a lot of different things in this business that would make your draw drop. Some of the messes I see can be a little overwhelming, but I love the fact that my Customers, even in their weakest clean moments, trust to invite me into their homes and tackle these messes.

From lots of dog puddles to cat infested carpets to carpets that haven’t been cleaned in 25 years, I have come across it all.

In this picture above I came across a very nice older lady that had not had her carpets cleaned since 1972. Yes, you heard that correct. 1972. The carpet was so old, it was almost brittle.  She was listing the home and did not have the money to replace the carpets.  The carpets, believe it or not actually cleaned up quite well. The only real shocker that day when cleaning carpets in Goose Creek South Carolina, was that I was cleaning the carpet, around a toilet that had not been professionally steamed cleaned in almost 50 years.

I double-masked, double gloved and when I was done double cleaned, but I would say the final carpet cleaning results were quite impressive. What are your thoughts on the carpet in the bathrooms? I am kind of glad that fade died out.
